about

Quarantine has given us time to unearth some projects that we didn't have time to complete.

This first piece is the first two tracks off of Anomaly, expanded to a full length album. I was working on expanding every Anomaly track for my side project, AMAE, but these two tracks expanded sounded so good I felt they deserved a proper Spiral release. Plus, these two include new guitar work from Bill, so it qualifies as a Spiral record! We hope you enjoy!

Anomaly was the first child born with the machines. Early on Rip taught her to reprogram herself on a molecular level and she took to it quicker than he expected. He never knew what shape he would find her in. A kitten in the morning, a doe in the afternoon, and a little girl in the evening. Soon they both forgot her original face. At times she would mix them all together. Eventually Rip realized that her shape shifting coincided with certain moods. She was truly using molecular construction in ways he had never even considered. Unfortunately, she was starting to be a little too preoccupied with the concepts of death and loss, two things Rip never wanted to think about again.
