Trash Rings

from Citizen by Spiral

/

about

Once he takes off he knows he will never be able to land his homemade rocket, actually he knew this before he took off, but he still went.

Once he pierces Earth’s blue sky he finds himself trapped in a ring off trash and debris floating all around the planet. He flies as slow as he can, avoiding huge satellites and pieces of broken glass and plastic, his ship shakes so hard that he’s afraid it will fall apart, but somehow he is laughing. Joyously navigating the minefield – He’s never had so much fun.
